Amanda Blevins
Sr. Director and Chief Technologist, Office of the CTO

Amanda Blevins is a Sr. Director and Chief Technologist in the Office of the CTO at VMware. She enables customers and partners to achieve their business objectives by co-creating a comprehensive technology strategy with executive leaders. She focuses on cloud, edge, and emerging technologies. Amanda collaborates with VMware’s R&D business units to ensure VMware’s portfolio meets the strategic needs of our customers and the industry. She is passionate about innovation and enabling cross-functional teams to be successful in their creative efforts. Amanda leads the Office of the CTO Global Field Programs that develop technical talent and provides program members the opportunity to participate in Office of the CTO projects and initiatives.

Amanda has been in the IT field for over 25 years in various infrastructure operations and architecture roles throughout her career. She joined VMware as a Sr. Systems Engineer in 2010. She became VMware’s first female Principal Systems Engineer a few years later. As VMware’s first and only female Chief Technologist, she leverages her experience and network to drive awareness and equality for women and all underrepresented people in technology fields. Most importantly, Amanda believes in "Doing the Right Thing".

Eros brings over 20 years’ experience in IT, working in large consulting projects across the globe. He holds a range of certifications from Microsoft, Cisco, Comptia, Frontrange, ServiceNow, and others. Eros manages the CDW ServiceNow Solutions R&D team, which is responsible for CDW's methodology across the various ServiceNow product lines (CSM, GRC, ITAM, ITBM, ITOM, ITSM, SecOps) and working across Sales, Pre-Sales, and Delivery to assist with strategic deals and help build enablement for the various applications within those product lines. Eros has been instrumental in building out our ServiceNow capabilities, and has successfully worked with our customers to help architect some of our largest ServiceNow projects.

Gallant has served as Chief Content Officer for IDG Enterprise media brands and is one of Network World’s founders. He served as CEO and editorial director for the company, where he guided content and business development for print and online, as well as Network World’s seminars and events programs.

Lorrissa manages Cisco's collaboration portfolio in Webex Teams and is laser focused on creating the next generation tools that will revolutionize how people work together. Creating personalized collaboration experiences with artificial intelligence and unifying the user experience with uninterrupted workstreams. Lorrissa is quite passionate about innovation, and has a track record of thinking outside-the-box with the development of nine patents over her career.

Prior to Cisco, Lorrissa brings more than 12 years of diverse experience in product management, productivity software in Microsoft Office, natural language processing, and machine learning with search and NUI experiences, hardware development for sound and video, analytics with Microsoft PowerBI, and business applications for human capital management.

Mike Pflieger
VP, IT Infrastructure and Operations

Mike Pflieger is Vice President of IT Infrastructure and Operations for CDW, a leading provider of technology solutions to business, government, education and healthcare. Pflieger is responsible for day to day operations of CDW’s internal data centers, servers and storage, networking, collaboration and end-user support.

Pflieger joined CDW in 2003 as a Senior Business Systems Analyst. He has led all teams across CDW’s IT department over the years, and prior to leading IT Infrastructure and Operations served as CDW’s Chief Information Security Officer for 5 years.  

Prior to CDW, Pflieger served as President and Co-Founder of Centrifusion, a consultancy focused on providing Fortune 500 companies with eCommerce capabilities. Before Centrifusion, Pflieger was a Software Delivery Engineer with CGI and a Systems Engineer with EDS.

Pflieger earned a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems Management from Loyola University and a MBA from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management. He holds CISM and CRISC designations from ISACA and is currently a member of the FBI Infragard and the serves as Branch Chief for Cybersecurity with the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary. He also has served on the boards for Chicago Abused Women Coalition and Lumity.

Darren focuses on Data Transformation through Data Architectures, Workload Migration, Cloud Native application Development, Service Orchestration, and Hybrid Cloud Data Center Architectures.  He holds several patents in Cloud and Grid computing and has written books and published articles on system architecture and software development.
Matt Yanchyshyn

Matt Yanchyshyn leads the Architecture Best Practices team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). Matt’s team builds software, authors technical content, and provides services that help customers run their businesses in the cloud. Since joining AWS nearly 8 years ago, Matt has witnessed the incredible growth of cloud computing. From Epic's Fortnite to Netflix to Capital One, companies all over the world are using AWS to power their products.

Prior to AWS, he was a technical leader at the Associated Press for nearly a decade, helping to spearhead their migration from traditional satellite delivery to web and API-based systems. Matt graduated from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Canada, with a BSc in Computer Science and French. He has lived and worked in over 60 countries, and currently resides in Brooklyn.
