Keren Elazari is an internationally acclaimed security researcher, author and strategic analyst, with years of experience in the international cyber security industry. Since 2000, Keren has worked with leading Israeli security firms, government organizations, Big 4 firms, advised Fortune 500 and groundbreaking startup companies, helping global organizations navigate complex cyber security issues.

Elazari’s independent research work and writing about emerging security issues has been featured by Scientific American, WIRED, and she is a frequent speaker and commentator in international events and in the media. Ms. Elazari holds an MA in Security Studies from the prestigious Security & Technology workshop at Tel Aviv University – where she is a senior researcher with the Balvatnik Interdisciplinary Cyber Research Center, focusing on the complex relationships between hackers, industry and government. Elazari is also a Security Fellow and faculty member with Singularity University, a private future-forward think tank.

In 2014, Keren became the first Israeli woman to speak at the annual TED conference. Keren’s TED talk has been viewed by millions online, translated to 27 languages and selected for TED’s list of ‘Most Powerful Ideas in 2014’ and Inc.com’s list of ‘Top TED Talks of 2014’.
Her collaborative book with 8 leading women, Women in Tech, was published by Penguin USA in March 2016 and became an Amazon bestseller. In 2016, Keren founded Israel’s largest security community event, BSidesTLV, part of the global Security BSides movement. Alyssa Miller
Manager, Information Security Solutions Practice

Alyssa is the manager of the Information Security Solutions Practice at CDW. Alyssa has over a decade of experience in Information Security with a strong focus on CyberSecurity and consulting. She has worked as an ethical hacker, performing network, application and wireless penetration tests, code reviews, threat modeling and other secure SDLC practices. She has also managed both enterprise and consulting teams responsible for conducting security assessments. She is also a regular speaker at various industry conferences including OWASP’s AppSec USA.

Before joining CDW, her role as a manager and practice leader within another security consulting organization focused on working with Fortune 500 organizations and government agencies to develop comprehensive Application Security and Secure SDLC Programs. She has extensive experience implementing security assurance programs and practices in the financial services industry as well as various government and international agencies. Alyssa also holds a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification from ISACA.
 
Wendy Nather

Wendy Nather is head of the Advisory CISO team at Duo Security (now Cisco). She was previously the Research Director at the Retail ISAC, as well as Research Director of the Information Security Practice at independent analyst firm 451 Research. Wendy led IT security for the EMEA region of the investment banking division of Swiss Bank Corporation (now UBS), and served as CISO of the Texas Education Agency. She speaks regularly on topics ranging from threat intelligence to identity and access management, risk analysis, incident response, data security, and societal and privacy issues. Wendy is co-author of The Cloud Security Rules, and was listed as one of SC Magazine's Women in IT Security "Power Players" in 2014, as well as an “Influencer” in the Reboot Leadership Awards in 2018.

Andre’ is the Chief Information Security Officer for ENGIE North America.  In this role, Andre’ is responsible for the development and implementation of the Cybersecurity program for ENGIE North America.  ENGIE is the world leader in low carbon power generation and the European leader in gas infrastructures with more than 24 million customers worldwide.  Andre’ has more than 35 years of experience in IT with the last 20 of those years being directly in Cyber & Information security leadership roles.  Prior to his current role as the ENGIE North America CISO, Andre’ served 13 years as the Computer Security Officer for Engineering at the NASA/Johnson Space Center and was also the first CISO for the City of Houston (TX), building successful security programs for both entities from the ground up.  Before entering the security profession 20 years ago at NASA, Andre’ was responsible for the integration, test, and verification of space flight software for NASA’s Space Shuttle Program and the International Space Station Program for more than 10 years.

Chuck Markarian

Chuck is the Chief Information Security Officer for PACCAR. In this role, Chuck is accountable for all elements of Information Security globally, across all PACCAR divisions. This includes security consulting, investigations, litigation support, strategic planning, standards and day to day activities. Chuck has additional ITD responsibilities which include Access Management, Disaster Recovery, Facilities and Vehicle Security. Chuck joined PACCAR in 2005 as the Assistant Director, Information Security.

Chuck has two security certifications from ISACA (Information Systems Audit and Control Association); CISM (Certified in Information Security Management) and CRISC (Certified in Risk and Information Systems Controls). Prior to coming to PACCAR, Chuck worked at BOEING and AT&T Wireless/Cingular in various IT and security roles.

Chuck has a Bachelor of Science in Math from Washington State University.
 
Aaron Miller

Aaron Miller is the Systems Engineering Director for America’s Sustaining Engineering team at Palo Alto Networks, currently based out of Denver, CO. This team consists of Channel Engineering, Corporate Sales Engineering, and Consulting Engineering and is designed to provide lift and scale to the field.

Miller is a passionate leader and evangelist, with deep expertise in business technology and digital strategy, and is regularly called upon to consult with both customers and partners on the disruption that is pervasive in the market today. He joined Palo Alto Networks in March 2016, having previously held the position of Director and Chief Architect at Avaya, a role in which he supported customers in understanding how they could adapt to the changing needs of their own users, and helping organizations of all types to deal with the impact of technology transformation.

Miller has extensive international experience having lived in London for 13 years. He’s held a wide variety of senior technical roles in both R&D and sales engineering, working with customers and partners of all sizes and segments.

Miller graduated from Cornell University’s College of Engineering with a Bachelor of Science degree in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering.

Kaushik Narayan

Kaushik Narayan is responsible for the Cloud Business Unit at McAfee’s technology vision and software architecture. He is the former CTO at Skyhigh (acquired by McAfee, January 2018) and brings over 18 years of experience driving technology and architecture strategy for enterprise-class products.

Kaushik has been working in the network security and management space for sixteen years and large part of that at Cisco Systems as the Principal Engineer responsible for the Identity Services Engine product, which won the Cisco Pioneer Technology award. Kaushik helped drive key technology initiatives within Cisco in the areas of Policy Management, Cloud Centric Networking and Network Automation. He has filed several patents and has also been an active member at the IETF, where he is responsible for multiple RFCs.
Kaushik holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Pune University and an MS in Management Systems from BITS Pilani.
 
Brett Schmidt

Brett Schmidt is vice president of the West region for CDW. Schmidt is responsible for the performance goals, strategic direction, business initiatives and talent development of the West region team for the company’s medium and large market segments.

Schmidt joined CDW in 1992 as an account manager and prior to assuming his current role in 2006, he held various positions of increasing responsibility in the corporate and public sector sales organizations. Schmidt has made significant contributions in the development of segmentation models for various business units, along with successfully developing highly effective sales teams. Most recently, he was responsible for the sales and marketing activities within the nonprofit segment, overseeing a team exclusively focused on associations, foundations, faith-based organizations and social service groups.

Schmidt earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing and business management from Northern Illinois University.
 
Marty Ward

Marty Ward serves as vice president of product marketing for Sophos where he is responsible for worldwide go-to-market strategy, planning and marketing efforts for all business units.  He has more than 25 years of software industry experience in marketing, product management, engineering, sales and customer support. 

Prior to joining Sophos, Marty has had executive marketing and product management roles at McAfee, Symantec, Asempra, Veritas Software, and Sun Microsystems.  Marty started his career as an engineer at IBM before moving into engineering management.

Marty holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Pennsylvania State University.
