Sadik Al-Abdulla is responsible for strategy, go-to-market, and solutions development within the company’s Strategic Solutions and Services organization. His team guides customers through the landmines of information risk management, network security, and compliance in this modern day battlefield of constantly evolving threats and controls. Since joining CDW in 2000, Al-Abdulla has held responsibility for security operations in CDW’s managed services business, identity and risk consulting, and has spent several years designing highly-effective security strategies for CDW customers. He assumed responsibility for the security consulting business in 2007, and the entire security business in late 2010. Al-Abdulla is a perennial speaker at industry events, and has served as an industry expert for numerous publications.
 
Steven Booth

As Chief Security Officer, Steven Booth is in charge of leading and overseeing all aspects of IT security at FireEye. This includes the ongoing development and execution of enterprise-wide security architecture and monitoring programs, as well as technology risk and compliance. Steven directs the implementation of security controls, standards, policies and procedures to ensure protection of information systems and physical property while compliance is maintained against both corporate security policies and industry standards. Prior to FireEye, Steven was the AVP of Information Security and CISO at Manulife/John Hancock, Cybersecurity Architect at Microsoft, and ran security operations for VeriSign’s MSSP.
 
Keren Elazari

Keren Elazari is an internationally acclaimed security researcher, author and strategic analyst, with years of experience in the international cyber security industry. Since 2000, Keren has worked with leading Israeli security firms, government organizations, Big 4 firms, advised Fortune 500 and groundbreaking startup companies, helping global organizations navigate complex cyber security issues.

Elazari’s independent research work and writing about emerging security issues has been featured by Scientific American, WIRED, and she is a frequent speaker and commentator in international events and in the media. Ms. Elazari holds an MA in Security Studies from the prestigious Security & Technology workshop at Tel Aviv University – where she is a senior researcher with the Balvatnik Interdisciplinary Cyber Research Center, focusing on the complex relationships between hackers, industry and government. Elazari is also a Security Fellow and faculty member with Singularity University, a private future-forward think tank.

In 2014, Keren became the first Israeli woman to speak at the annual TED conference. Keren’s TED talk has been viewed by millions online, translated to 27 languages and selected for TED’s list of ‘Most Powerful Ideas in 2014’ and Inc.com’s list of ‘Top TED Talks of 2014’.
Her collaborative book with 8 leading women, Women in Tech, was published by Penguin USA in March 2016 and became an Amazon bestseller. In 2016, Keren founded Israel’s largest security community event, BSidesTLV, part of the global Security BSides movement. In July 2017, Keren was selected by Forbes as one of Israel’s “most influential women” and featured on the cover of Forbes Israel.
 
Jon Oberheide

Jon is the co-founder and CTO of Duo Security, responsible for leading product vision and the Duo Labs advanced research team. Before starting Duo, Jon was a self-loathing academic, completing his PhD at the University of Michigan in the realm of cloud security. In a prior life, Jon enjoyed offensive security research and generally hacking the planet. Jon was recently named to Forbes "30 under 30" list for his mobile security hijinks.

Joe Levy

Joe Levy joined Sophos as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) in February 2015. In this role he leads the company’s technology strategy worldwide, driving product vision and innovation to both enhance and simplify IT security.

Joe brings more than 20 years of leadership and development expertise, focusing on information security. Prior to Sophos, Joe was CTO for Blue Coat Systems following the company’s May 2013 acquisition of security analytics pioneer Solera Networks, where he had served as CTO since 2008. Prior to Solera, Joe was CTO of SonicWALL (acquired by Dell), where he led research and development teams with concentrations in the areas of next-generation firewalls, deep packet inspection, cryptography and secure remote access.

Earlier in his career, Joe spent six years with the security-focused, value-added reseller OneNet, where he led product and service design and development, including managed services. Joe has participated in various industry certification and design consortiums, and he holds several security, networking database and virtualization patents. He has co-authored a book on the topic of wireless network security, covering many of the secure wireless innovations he and his architectural teams have designed. Joe holds a BA from Queens College, NY.
 
Kaushik Narayan
VP, CTO Cloud BU
McAfee
Kaushik Narayan is responsible for the Cloud Business Unit at McAfee’s technology vision and software architecture. He is the former CTO at Skyhigh (acquired by McAfee, January 2018) and brings over 18 years of experience driving technology and architecture strategy for enterprise-class products.

Kaushik has been working in the network security and management space for sixteen years and large part of that at Cisco Systems as the Principal Engineer responsible for the Identity Services Engine product, which won the Cisco Pioneer Technology award. Kaushik helped drive key technology initiatives within Cisco in the areas of Policy Management, Cloud Centric Networking and Network Automation. He has filed several patents and has also been an active member at the IETF, where he is responsible for multiple RFCs.
Kaushik holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Pune University and an MS in Management Systems from BITS Pilani.
 
Christina Rother

Christina V. Rother is senior vice president of strategic solutions and services for CDW. Rother is responsible for CDW’s technology solutions teams focusing on cloud, mobility, security, collaboration, data center and services.

After joining CDW in 1991 as an account manager, Rother quickly rose through the ranks. In 1998, she participated on the team that created CDW Government (CDW-G), a wholly owned subsidiary of CDW, and in 2002 she was appointed vice president for education and state and local government sales. Rother’s responsibilities expanded in 2005, when she was chosen to lead the company’s newly formed healthcare sales team. She served as group vice president of CDW-G from 2006 to 2009, when she became vice president of sales and president of CDW-G. In 2011, in addition to retaining her position as CDW-G president, Rother was promoted to senior vice president of sales, focusing on public sector and advanced technology sales. She assumed her current position in July 2018. Prior to joining the company, Rother held a number of sales positions with technology companies including Laser Computers and Price Electronics.

Rother earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. In addition to fostering educational improvements through her work at CDW-G, she serves as director emeritus for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Illinois.

 
Brett Schmidt
VP, West Region

Brett Schmidt is vice president of the West region for CDW. Schmidt is responsible for the performance goals, strategic direction, business initiatives and talent development of the West region team for the company’s medium and large market segments.

Schmidt joined CDW in 1992 as an account manager and prior to assuming his current role in 2006, he held various positions of increasing responsibility in the corporate and public sector sales organizations. Schmidt has made significant contributions in the development of segmentation models for various business units, along with successfully developing highly effective sales teams. Most recently, he was responsible for the sales and marketing activities within the nonprofit segment, overseeing a team exclusively focused on associations, foundations, faith-based organizations and social service groups.

Schmidt earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing and business management from Northern Illinois University.
